By bidding in this auction, you agree to the following terms:
A valid credit card is required to bid.
All lots are sold “AS IS” and without recourse, and neither Loon Estates, nor its consignor(s) makes any warranties or representations, express or implied, with respect to such lots. All sales are final. Catalog images are considered part of the item description; please use all information provided to you to assess the value of items before bidding. DISCLOSURE: We do our best to provide accurate pictures and descriptions of items, however all items are sold strictly as is / where is - No Warranties; written, verbal, implied, or otherwise. No Warranties; written, verbal, implied, or otherwise. No refunds, credits, or discounts are offered.
BUYERS PREMIUM
A 30% buyers premium will be charged to the winning bidder of each lot. Sales tax applies to the buyers premium amount.
SALES TAX
All applicable taxes will be applied to every sale. Completed tax exemption forms can be provided to Loon Estates in person at pick-up, or via email to info@loonestates.com. You can also submit documents to LiveAuctioneers to have this reflected on your account.
In-Person payments must pay the sales tax rate for St. Paul, MN, unless tax-exemption status details are submitted.
PAYMENTS
Invoices must be paid through the platform on which you bid.
Loon Estates accepts all major credit cards or cash for payment. Wire Transfers may be accepted on a case by case basis and must be approved directly by Loon Estates.
If, for any reason, your invoice is unpaid 14 days after the auction, your order will be considered abandoned.
The purchaser’s obligation to pay the full purchase price is immediate, absolute, and unconditional, and is not subject to any defenses, setoffs, or counterclaims of any kind. Loon Estates is not required to release any lot to the purchaser until full payment has been received and title to the lot has passed.
Autopayment is enabled for all LiveAuctioneers bidders and will apply to the credit cards on file within 72 hours of the time that the invoice is sent. This will charge the credit card you used to register for the auction for the full amount listed on your invoice from LiveAuctioneers. For winning bidders who choose to pick up their items in person from our location, payment can be made with cash or check in person during collection. If you plan to pay in person, please notify us within 48 hours after receiving your invoice in order to avoid being charged automatically.
SHIPPING POLICY
Loon Estates offers in-house shipping at the company's discretion.
Loon Estates offers in-house shipping on selected items as well as local pickup. We will make you aware of your order’s shipping qualifications within 48 hours after the auction has ended. All in-house shipping is done through Shipping Saint. In-house shipping can take up to 3-4 weeks from invoice payment. Any shipping inquiries can be sent to info@loonestates.com. All shipping invoices must be paid within 14 days or your order will be considered abandoned and become the property of Loon Estates.
In-House shipping qualifications: under 20” in any dimension, includes: Unframed artwork, framed artwork, jewelry, coins, and decorative objects, at the company's discretion. All furniture, oversized items, excessively fragile items, or items otherwise beyond our shipping capacity will be passed off to our third-party shipping partners. Proof of communication between the customer and the shippers is required to release lots for third-party shipment.
Local In-Person Pick Up is on the Thursday & Friday following the auction date. You must contact us to make other in-person arrangements.
LOON ESTATES STAFF IS NOT AVAILABLE TO HELP LOAD YOUR ITEMS INTO YOUR VEHICLE. PACKING SUPPLIES WILL NOT BE PROVIDED.

PLEASE NOTE: All property must be picked up within 14 days of the auction (unless being shipped in-house). If, for any reason, your order is still in our possession 60 days after the auction, it will be considered abandoned, unless otherwise communicated. Best practice is to talk to us if you are having issues collecting your items! We’re happy to make accommodations for you.
